How this estimating tool works:
The calculator estimates tile counts using the tile dimensions and the edge allowances you specified. It adds 5% wastage to the suggested tile count.
Box totals and cost across calculations assume that each calculation is for a different tile. If you are using the same tile, check the overall total, as it may equate to fewer boxes than indicated.
For larger areas, check if the wastage allowance is excessive, eg if the total works out as 101 tiles, in boxes of ten, reducing the wastage from five tiles to just four, would reduce the requirement by an entire box.
