Not one, but two new games to challenge you: "Arithmetic Escalation" and "Word-Weave".

"Arithmetic Escalation" is a mental maths challenge that is suitable for all ages,as it automatically increases in difficulty to match the player.
All four of the basic 'operators' are included: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division, although that last one gets quite hard, quite quickly!

The "Word-Weave" challenge takes a different path - literally!
Word-Weave is an interactive word-search on steroids, with colourful results.
Time-limits and score-tracking make it far more exciting than old puzzle-books. Variable size of grid; choice of word length, and two types of hint let you call the shots.
Best of all, you can play as often as you like - no One-A-Day limits - and a source list of approximately ten thousand words make every grid unique.

The new 'Pell Sequence' generator is an introduction to the fascinating world of 'The Silver Ratio' - explore this unique mathematical pattern with ease. Whether you’re a maths enthusiast or just curious, our tool makes generating these elegant numbers faster and more fun than ever!

John Pell (1611–1685) was a distinguished English mathematician, linguist, and diplomat who was a prominent figure in the intellectual circles of the seventeenth century. Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, he held various professorships in the Netherlands and served as Oliver Cromwell’s political agent in Switzerland. Ironically, although the Pell Sequence and Pell’s Equation bear his name, he did not actually discover them; the naming was the result of a historical misattribution by the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler. Despite this confusion, Pell remains a highly regarded figure in the history of British mathematics for his extensive correspondence and his role in fostering scientific progress.

Visually similar to the 'Polybius Square' Cypher, the Playfair Cypher is a modern implementation of a Victorian-era Military text encryption system.

Invented in 1854 by Charles Wheatstone, it is named in honour of Lord Playfair, who popularized its use for military purposes.
it transforms pairs of letters by arranging the alphabet into a 5x5 grid (usually combining "I" and "J" so that all 26 letters can fit into only 25 cells.)

The 'Polybius Square' Cypher System is a modern implementation of a classic text encryption system.

Credited to (and named after) the historian Polybius, it transforms letters into numerical coordinates by arranging the alphabet into a 5x5 grid (usually combining "I" and "J" so that all 26 letters can fit into only 25 cells.)

Need a secure password for your laptop (or similar), but need to be able to memorise it?
You need the new Memorable Secure Password Generator in the Computing Tools Section

This highly-configurable tool suggests passwords made up of multiple small words, (chosen from a list of approximately twenty thousand), rather than the un-recognisable random characters some other tools suggest.

If your password doesn't need to be memorable, you should use the Secure / Random Password Generator instead.

The Factorial Number Generator has been updated to record the number of digits of the largest Factorial calculated in each series. This number grows really fast.

The Parallelogram Dimensions calculator has had an update. It now has over fifty-five separate formulae built in to it, letting you calculate all eleven dimensions of a parallelogram even if you only know three or four.

The Temporal section has had another update: the World Time Analogue Clock makes it easy to keep track of the time of day across the world, helping to avoid awkwardness due to late-night calls or missed meetings!

The Periodic Table reference has had another wee update, linking the Legend to the table itself making it easier than ever to understand the full set of chemical elements.

The Simple Prime Number Series Generator has had an update, to allow you to calculate a single, specific Prime Number, whether that is the 9th or the Nine hundred and ninety ninth.

New Tools & Calculators

The new interactive Binary to Decimal Conversion Demonstrator shows how a binary number is converted into its decimal equivalent. Enter a binary value of up to 64 bits, and this tool will create a table showing the corresponding powers of two.
The individual binary digits are then animated into position, followed by the equivalent decimal values for that column. Finally, the tool shows how to add up the resulting values to produce the correct decimal number, showing the conversion process step by step.
A history of previous conversions is also maintained, making it easy to compare examples and reinforce understanding of binary arithmetic, or to use the results to create worksheets - either from the formatted results, or from a one-click plain-text summary.

The new Prime Factors Calculator finds the prime numbers that multiply together to make a given number.
It is useful for simplifying fractions, finding the highest common factor (HCF), lowest common multiple (LCM), and understanding how numbers are built.

See how Blaise Pascal's famous triangle reveals beautiful patterns in numbers, algebra and probability with the Pascal's Triangle Generator

Calculate speed, distance or acceleration for an object, without knowing Time, with the new Velocity-Displacement Calculator (also known as The Third Equation of Motion).

The latest tool in the two-dimensional shapes section is the Right-Angled Triangles calculator.
It instantly calculates all dimensions of a right-angled triangle (sides, angles, area, and perimeter) for any problem across various professional and personal fields.

The latest new tool instantly Calculates all possible factors of a given number
Finding the factors of an integer is a fundamental concept in mathematics with several practical applications across various fields, such as 'Simplification of Fractions', and for 'Prime Factorisation'.
Factors play a role in modular arithmetic, which is used in computer science, cryptography, and error-correcting codes
