How this estimating tool works:
This tool calculates tile counts based on both the tile dimensions and the edge allowances you specified. It adds 5% wastage to the suggested tile count.
Box counts and total cost across calculations assume that each calculation is for a different tile design. If you are using the same tile throughout, check the overall total, as it may equate to fewer boxes than indicated.
For larger areas, check if the wastage allowance is excessive, eg if the total works out as 101 tiles, in boxes of ten, reducing the wastage from five tiles to just four, would reduce the requirement by an entire box.
