Count Down Timer

Caveats:

If you are reading this paragraph, then you probably don't have JavaScript installed/enabled on your computer.
At this point in time the calculators on this site are entirely dependent on JavaScript. Given enough time and money it is hoped to develop a version in the future which will be able to operate independently. Since JavaScript runs on your own computer, rather than on this server, it has been possible to set up this site much more quickly than if a server-side language was used, and it is possible to serve far more pages with the available bandwidth.

This tool shows count-down times in milliseconds (ms), seconds (s), minutes (m), hours (h) and days (d).

Instructions

1. Set the time you want the timer to finish, (below left) and press the 'Start' button. The date is optional - if you set a time that has already passed, then the timer will assume you mean tomorrow.
2. Or: Set how long you want the timer to last for, (below right), press the 'Set' button, then press the 'Start' button when ready.
3. Click the 'Pause' button if you want to pause the timer.
4. Click the 'Stop' button to cancel the countdown entirely.
5. Press the 'Clear' button to clear the timer and re-enable the 'Start' button.
